How so? Was it the removal of the free and non-free software distinction? I just restored that. I suppose that I habitually alphabetised the browsers without really thinking about it. Anything else I should change back/around? Or were you referencing the talk page. Sorry, Wiki etiquette is not something that I understand particularly well. :Both of them share an equal amount of recommendations on /g/. If anything, your bias to prioritize Firefox in the list is against wiki neutrality, regardless of /g/'s opinion. I am a Firefox Nightly user by the way, but that makes little to no difference. Until you can reference some facts that you claim, I'll edit this to satisfy both of us. Brave these days has gotten unbearable with it's agressive marketing into shitcoin, and I've heard very unsettling rumors of it just being a chrome botnet in disguise. Can we source data that proves this? I will update the list here with a google-telemetry free chrome experience. Twelfth February Overhaul
For better or for worse, I have rewritten the article. In spite of my personal biases, I have tried to give the article a neutral tone. It needs more content from other users though, obviously. Rapespider (talk) 16:10, 12 February 2014 (EST)
The Introduction
I'm not sure what it ought to cover. Rapespider (talk) 16:10, 12 February 2014 (EST)
The Chromium/Chrome Article
The Chrome article desperately needs to be renamed to 'Chromium' and rewritten by an actual Chromium user. I suppose that I could do it, but I only use Chromium for testing purposes. Rapespider (talk) 16:10, 12 February 2014 (EST)
Other Browsers
Are most of the current listings really relevant enough to be listed here? Rapespider (talk) 16:10, 12 February 2014 (EST)
How so? Was it the removal of the free and non-free software distinction? I just restored that. I suppose that I habitually alphabetised the browsers without really thinking about it. Anything else I should change back/around? Or were you referencing the talk page. Sorry, Wiki etiquette is not something that I understand particularly well. - That distiction is more important than you might think, and should not be removed for the benefit of our users. Thanks for the overhaul, we desperately needed it in this section, and I deem it sucessfull in restoring neutrality and quality. --Bisasam (talk) 17:50, 12 February 2014 (EST)
Old Comments
Chrome is still a lot less customiseable than firefox. Nobody should use IE and dont think it should be on this list, as it does not run on GNU/Linux --Bisasam (talk) 20:39, 27 January 2014 (EST)
This is a /g/-approved website, and as such it is comedic and universal in its approaches. Things like IE should be added because they can be hated on, which 4chan loves to do. I also don't think we should include Linux-only topics. --Fontain (talk) 16:06, 28 January 2014 (EST)
Why shouldn't there be (GNU+)Linux only topics? There are already Windows only topics. --Sergio (talk) 16:16, 28 January 2014 (EST)
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought this wiki would be more for /g/'s opinion on things so that a new user could come here instead of asking us "WHAT IS /g/S FAVORITE DRAGON DILDO PLZ RESPOND". Having IE and the decision that it sucks and rationale behind it would be warranted. --Gutsman (talk) 16:46, 28 January 2014 (EST)
go ahead and add it then.--Bisasam (talk) 16:50, 28 January 2014 (EST)
I think it's supposed to be a tome of knowledge. I assumed it was okay to add bits of obvious humor. --Sergio (talk) 16:49, 28 January 2014 (EST)
No this is the no fun zone --Britfag (talk) 16:51, 28 January 2014 (EST)
I think that's inaccurate. --Sergio (talk) 16:52, 28 January 2014 (EST)
Sergio, when I said that there should not be Linux-only topics, I meant in pages agnostic to any one operating system, such as Firefox. --Fontain (talk) 17:28, 28 January 2014 (EST)
What topics were limited to (GNU+)Linux on the Firefox page? --Sergio (talk) 18:56, 28 January 2014 (EST)
"...there are compelling reasons to use Opera." [CITATION NEEDED] Rapespider (talk) 12:53, 10 February 2014 (EST)
We are not wikipedia. Sorting 2 items alphapetically makes no sense. Firefox is currently recommended by the vast majority of /g/. I like most of your contributions, but this is obvious shilling. --Bisasam (talk) 19:47, 10 February 2014 (EST)
