Who is Uriel, and why did he die? Any help?

Uriel was a developer at Bell Labs, and at Plan 9. He was a Utopian Philosopher, created very interesting philosophies, and eventually killed himself because no one listened. He didn't believe in a lot of things, such as the GNU Philosophy, and recommended alternatives to GNU-things, like the Three-Clause BSD License and BusyBox. --The One, The Only... Chocolate Chip!
